Terms of Service

Welcome to HeadsUp. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the HeadsUp app or website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What HeadsUp is

HeadsUp is a real-time assistant that transcribes spoken questions and generates suggested answers based on information you provide (such as your CV and a job description). It is a preparation and assistance tool. You are solely responsible for how you use it.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use HeadsUp lawfully and honestly. In particular:

You are responsible for your own use of HeadsUp and any consequences of it. We provide a tool; how and where you use it is your decision and your responsibility.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions & payment

HeadsUp is offered as a paid monthly subscription (currently £20/month). Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app or by contacting us. When a subscription lapses or is cancelled, access to the Service stops at the end of the paid period.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service relies on third parties (e.g. transcription and AI providers) and may change or be unavailable at times.

7. No warranty & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Suggested answers are generated automatically and may be inaccurate — you must review and decide what to say. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeadsUp is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
